The origin of the co-operative dates back to 1960.

Since then, it has undergone considerable development, through organic and external growth strategies.

In 1999, the merger of 3 regional entities gave birth to the Alinéa co-operative in its current form, i.e. a nationwide organisation specialising in the production of condiments (garlic, onion, shallot), melon, prune d'Ente and dried vegetables.

Sites
While its head office and logistical platform are based in Beaumont de Lomagne (Tarn et Garonne department), Alinéa also owns production sites in Lautrec, in the Tarn department (pink garlic and certified seeds) and Lectoure, in the Gers department (melon and prune d'Ente).
